PS is much better at this, but if you don't want Adobe, the only other choice is ON1. Light colored buildings on light sky doesn't do very well, but usually one of the sliders will fix it. If I have to do my own masking, what's the point of Luminar's AI? Luminar 4's attempt at replacing the sky (and a bit more!) However, I find that it's less than perfect at recognising the sky, and sometimes thinks other things are sky unless I do some extra masking.įor example, I decided to replace the sky in this picture (of Santorini): Yes, that's the one thing I already knew about it, and I've been trying out that feature. Lots of tutorials on Youtube - many of them short and / or for those getting started: It does a great job of replacing skies - that's the feature I use most. Obviously some impressive features.įor people who know the product already: what are its key strengths? I'm a PhotoLab user, which won't change, but where could Luminar 4 add something? I've installed it and am studying on-line videos.
